Cord Lock System

This system uses a cord and ring system to pleat the fabric into accordion-style folds when the shade is raised using a cord lock. A pull cord hangs down freely for raising and lowering the shade.

Hardware Included

Each roman shades came with hardware. Easy to install. The headrail and aluminum rod are detachable.

HOW TO MEASURE

Inside Mount

Measure the width inside the window opening at the top, middle and bottom. Take the narrowest of the three width measurements, and round down to the nearest 1/8”.
Measure the height inside the window opening in 3 places and keep the longest of the 3 measurements.

Outside Mount

Measure the window frame width or greater than the width of your window.
Measure from the top of the proposed headrail (headrail height:1 3/8 inch) location to the base of the sill. if there is no sill, measure where you would like to the roman shade to drop.

Tips

Round each measurement to the nearest 1/8”.
Measure every window even if they appear to be the same.
Use a metal tape for the greatest accuracy.
Measure in three spots (top, middle and bottom) and use the smallest measurement.

Hardware Install and Detach

Install: Insert the front edge of the shade headrail onto the mounting brackets. Press the back edge of the shades up into the mounting brackets and snap them into place.

Detach: Press and hold the white button, detach the headrail from the back edge.

INSIDE MOUNT: Considering possible not perfectly straight window frame, we recommend measuring the window in 3 places (across the top, middle and bottom) to get the smallest width, then minus 3/8 inch for loop cord position and shade gap coverage to determine finished shade width to order. Round all measurements down to the nearest 1/8″ interval. OUTSIDE MOUNT: Roman shade width and length need to be 4-10 inches larger than your window frame for better coverage.
